John Skees is a photographer and teacher in Fort Worth Texas. He currently serves as the Director of Media for the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. John is a member of the Association of Texas Photography Instructors, where he has served as an instructor and a board member.

Prior to joining TAPPS, John was a high school teacher for eleven years. Most recently he has taught journalism, photography, and broadcast and has also served as a yearbook advisor and sports media coordinator. He continues to pursue his own work both in and out of the studio.

John lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and two children.
